Harbor Road Terminal

The Harbor Road Terminal is capable of handling and storing bulk products, offers specialized machinery/equipment, and is capable of handling general cargo. A lower roadway and river flood wall allows for various barge positions along the river. The terminal area is serviced by two 110-ton capacity Link Belt crawler cranes. One of the cranes is mounted on a floating "spud" barge for loading and unloading from barge at various terminal locations.

A fleet of loaders, lift trucks, specialty attachments, and equipment accessories are available for handling metals, bulk products, and general/specialized cargo such as aluminum, steel, zinc, fertilizer, grain, coal, gypsum, and heavy lift cargo.

The grain storage and loading facility has three steel storage bins totaling 90,000 bushels capacity. An adjacent 200' diameter storage pod increased the storage capacity an additional 650,000 bushels. A stationary 36" conveyor is utilized to load grain to barge either direct from truck, direct from railcar, or direct from storage bins and/or storage pod.

Harbor Road Terminal Warehouses

Raw materials and finished products are handled routinely utilizing over 100,000 square feet of on-site general commodity warehouse space located at the Harbor Road Terminal's warehouse buildings.

With prime location adjacent to the river, metals, such as aluminum, magnesium, and zinc are handled in these warehouses. Other products requiring indoor warehouse storage, such as manufacturing equipment and steel coils, are frequent transients in these buildings. Warehouse docks (drive-in and van) and rail spurs to each building provides efficiency and flexibility for your handling and storage requirements.
